TEMPO SIX-A-SIDE TABLE FOOTBALL

RULES

Standard FISTF playing rules apply to Tempo Table Six-A-Side football but with the following exceptions:

PLAYING SURFACE:

The rules for this game apply to Flickmaster Six-A-Side playing surfaces. Alternative Six-a-side playing surfaces may also be used. Flickmaster or alternative Six-A-Side metal/plastic goals must be used.

SETTING OUT THE PLAYERS:
Only two defensive figures may be placed inside each players defending quarter of the pitch. Three figures must be placed in the mid field quarter of the players own half. This rule applies for flick off and re-starts after goals are scored and at goal flicks when figures are repositioned.

GAME DURATION:
Each Six-A-Side Tempo Table Football match consists of two halves of five minutes duration. Total duration of normal time is ten minutes.

Each match must have a winner. There are no drawn matches in Six-A-Side Tempo Table Football.

Extra time is awarded In the event of a draw at the end of normal time. Extra time consists of two halves of two minutes. Total duration of extra time is four minutes.

If the game remains drawn after extra time penalties are awarded.

Each player takes five penalty flicks in alternate turns. The penalty flicks are taken from the penalty spot. The goalkeeper must not move forward of his line until the ball is struck.

If the goalkeeper is judged to have moved forward before the ball is struck and saves the shot the penalty flick must be retaken but if the ball crosses the line advantage is awarded and the goal stands.

If the game remains drawn after each player has taken their five penalty flicks the players must then continue to take alternate penalties until there is a winning penalty flick.

FLICK IN RULE:
A throw in (flick in) figure must not cross touch line after striking the ball. If the figure travels over the touch line a foul throw is called and the flick in is awarded to the opposing team. The flick in must be taken from the same spot.

From a flick in the ball must travel only into the flick in figures current quarter of the pitch or next quarter if flicking forwards. If the flick in travels forwards two quarters of the pitch the flick in is awarded to opposing team. The ball may be flicked backwards any distance into the defending half.

GOAL FLICK RULE:
At every goal kick (goal flick) each player may reorganise all of their figures but all must be returned to their own half. A Free Flick is awarded if the rule is violated and must be taken from the position of the offending figure. The Offending figure must be returned to the offending players own half before the free flick is taken.

Goal flicks must not cross the half way line. If the rule is violated the goal flick is awarded to the opponent.

GOALKEEPER RULE:

The goalkeeper (on rod) can make contact with the ball outside of his immediate six yard box. If he touches the ball posession switches to the other player.

FREE FLICK RULE:
1 positional flick is awarded for free flicks and flick ins.
2 positional flicks are awarded for corners.

BLOCK FLICK RULE:
In the event of a free flick or flick in the player in possession does not have to wait for the defending player to take any defensive block flicks. But when a corner is awarded the attacking player must wait for the defending player to take their two defensive positional flicks. If the rule is violated a goal kick is awarded to the defending team.

OFFSIDE RULE:
No Offside Rule applies to WRP7 Six-A-Side Tempo Table Football

POINTS ALLOCATED FOR LEAGUE SYSTEM:

Winning team is awarded two points.

The losing team is awarded one point if the match is drawn at the end of normal time. The losing team is awarded no points if match is lost at the end of normal time.

Goals scored and conceded are only taken into account up until the end of extra time. Penalty shoot out goals must not be counted as goals scored or conceded. Penalty flicks taken within the periods of normal and extra time are counted as goals scored and conceded.
